The definition of a DJ isn't measured by the years they have been in their field; instead it is measured by the musical knowledge, passion, skill and dedication that they possess. Philip Ferrari attains and continues to maintain these attributes.
The name Philip Ferrari is his birth given name that eventually became his primary DJ name after changing it from DJ Philly Phil. Born and raised in the Bronx, surrounded by eclectic music and family members who are also DJs, Philip Ferrari showed keen interest in the skill and began practicing at the mere age of 5. At the age of 8 he was gifted his first set of turntables. Practicing daily and researching various musical selections landed him his first gig at Club Plush in Queens at the age of 16
The live club experience and immense positive feedback from the crowd inspired Philip Ferrari to expose his talent at various nightclubs in NYC. He quickly became popular in the club scene and at the age of 20 he was given the opportunity to become the official tour DJ for Hip-Hop Star French Montana.
